Dr. Alison R Maloof, ND
Dr. Alison R. Maloof is a Naturopathic Doctor and owner of Atlas Naturopathic Health Center. She is originally from Western Massachusetts. After becoming a certified yoga instructor, she discovered a joy for wellness and was introduced to natural medicine. She fell in love with naturopathic philosophy, which led her to receive her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from National University of Health Sciences in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Maloof completed a two-year accredited residency in Vermont after naturopathic medical school.

Dr. Maloof opened Atlas Naturopathic Health Center in 2021 . She is thrilled to be working in the beautiful State of Maine and to call this place home. Dr. Maloof has a firm belief in finding the underlying cause of illness and working as a team with her patients to create a strong foundation of health and wellness.
In her spare time, Dr. Maloof enjoys yoga, meditation, hiking, folding origami animals, and skiing.
Erin Kozielec, LMT
Erin Kozielec is a licensed massage therapist at Atlas Naturopathic. She is committed to supporting individuals on their path to healing and balance. Whether you're seeking relief from acute or chronic pain, or simply in need of deep rest and restoration, she offers a grounded and compassionate presence. Her approach to massage therapy focuses not only on the body’s physical needs but also on helping clients reconnect with their bodies—an essential part of the healing process. She believes that treating the whole person is just as important as addressing specific symptoms.
Erin returned to Maine after living in Delaware, where she also completed her massage therapy training. She’s grateful to be back in a place that feels like home. Outside of her practice, Erin nurtures her creativity through various artistic outlets, finds inspiration in nature, and cherishes time spent with ones she holds close—including her cat, Bagel.
Erin brings a calm, intuitive presence to her work and is honored to be part of your care team at Atlas Naturopathic.
Ema Hegberg
Ema Hegberg is the receptionist and naturopathic assistant at Atlas Naturopathic Health Center. With a diverse background in community-oriented and creative environments—from libraries to botanical dye shops—she blends organizational skill with a deep appreciation for nature and healing.

Her work experience has instilled a love of order and flow, ensuring that your visits begin and end with clarity and kindness. Whether she’s managing appointments, assisting in the clinic, or offering a friendly welcome, Ema’s thoughtful and attentive nature helps create a space where patients are at ease.

A recent (and enthusiastic) transplant to Maine, Ema is finding joy in getting to know the land and community here. Outside the clinic, she’s most often found birdwatching, wandering in the woods, or savoring quiet time by the water.
