Frequently Asked Questions
Naturopathic Medicine is a distinct healthcare profession that uses a combination of modalities to address the whole person with an emphasis on treating the underlying cause of symptoms and prevention of disease. We use a variety of healing methods to create health in your body including: nutrition, botanicals, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, counseling, laboratory testing, naturopathic adjustments and more. By addressing all aspects that determine a patients health, we are able to correct imbalances and utilize the body’s self-healing abilities, leading to a healthy life. Applying this strategy of healthcare individualized to each patient, Atlas Naturopathic Health Center can reach our goal of making Midcoast Maine a healthier community.
